Digital registration of migrant workers

Petition submitted to labour minister, Tirupur collector and district Labour department on 25.09.2020

A large number of migrant workers who lost their jobs left to their native. Now due to the prevailing situation, migrant workers are returning to Tirupur for work. We need to immediately issue a legal card digitally to those who come to the district in search of job. Only with such a system, we can be able to know about the statistics of migrant workers, which will facilitate the implementation of welfare schemes for migrant workers.

As a result of the petition submitted, actions have been taken appropriately at the right time and new website has been launched for entering the migrant’s database.
